Just two athletes trying to help others eat better.
How it all started
"As I grew older, I began cooking for myself and understanding the impact of nutrition. While seeking recipes that would help me reach my goals, I realized all those 'healthy' online recipes weren't actually that healthy for you. This is when I knew I had to create something like Athleats — not only to help me, but help guide other athletes with aspiring dreams."
Alongside his brother, Nico, they found it very difficult to actually find recipes online that were healthy as well as beneficial to helping them achieve their athletic goals. Fed up with just eating Chicken & Rice every meal, with no variety out there to find, they decided to create Athleats.
In their own kitchen at home, they started testing new recipe ideas and implemented it into their own routine. They saw that they were not only getting better results, but they actually enjoyed what they were eating and didn’t feel the need to divulge in terrible foods when cheat day came around.
We believe that healthy eating shouldn’t feel like a chore. It should be an enjoyable experience that you look forward to. It should feel part of your lifestyle and not just a diet you go on for a few weeks. No matter what that looks like — whether you’re a runner, a lifter, a yogi, or a busy parent chasing kids around the house, we encourage you to try some recipes.
